IC Projects
Two-part Vase by Yasuki Hiramatsu part of 'Raising the Bar: Influential Voices in Metal', 2008
The first Jerwood event I ever went to was the private view for the Jerwood Applied Art Prize for glass. I was mesmerised by the quality and beauty of the making, by the integrity towards medium and ideas and the interplay of craft and art. I have since developed a deep fascination with makers and their making and how to bring more people to appreciate and understand their work in new and special contexts. This is what IC is about for me.
